I agree..I thought it was about the chimp in Conn too....and how it

not only is there no way to spin it or explain it, but it simply makes no
sense!! There is nothing that connects a shot chimp with the stimulus bill!!
Al Sharpton yesterday made an interesting observation after the Post tried to
explain why they published it. They said:
"The cartoon is a clear parody of a current news event, to wit the shooting of
a violent chimpanzee in Connecticut."
Sharpton said if they really did not mean to offend anyone, they would have
said that it was unintentional and then they would have extended an apology.
But the truth is, it was not related to a single issue, it tried to connect 2
different current events. True, it was not effective at connecting them but it
was still about much more than a single issue.
