Over 20 states now have a ban on keeping primates(non human) as pets.... If primates can be shipped anywhere, this hurts those states in enforcement....so this house bill would ban the sale of primates across state lines.....There are provisions in the bill for zoos, research, and other legal uses.....
95 Republicans voted "no".......
