I was just watching Rachel Maddow and she was talking about when Obama was getting standing ovations, it looked like even republicans were giving him a standing ovation. But, she said, the reason why it looked that way is because they also had to seat democrats (even on the republican side) because apparently there are not enough republicans left in congress to fill their section!!
