It all started with a belly ache Sunday nite about 8pm. Dawn cooked dinner. grin. No what I think triggered it was stupid ole me. I ate some sausage sealed in plastic I bought when I left last June. It tasted okay. dumb. Belly ache continued until 3 am when I asked Dawn to call 911. They came out checked bp and vitals and told me to drink some Gatorade. I had had the runs since 8pm Sunday. I did and dismissed them. I didn't know I was alergic to Gatorade until 10 min after drinking it got hives. Took some Benadryl with limited effectiveness and situation got worse. Asked Dawn to call about 8am to go to hospital. By then was dizzy and really bad off. They got here but because of the narrow staircase couldn't get gurney upto me . I knew couldn't walk but tried bouncing my butt down the stairs, passed out totally after about 5 of the 17 steps and they caught me about 5 steps later when theey realized I was out. Revived me and got Iv started but had trouble with vein. Couldn't get a bp at all on me. Hospital was about 5 miles. Got in ER and team of about 15 worked to stabalize me. I had 15 IV's within the next day. and numerous blood test, catscan and sonongrams on heart, liver, kidneys stomach etc. Was in ER about 12 hours then moved to ICU for about 12 then to room yesterday. More scans and food was good. BP went up when got bad yet terrible political news. Transported me home today about 11 am. I feel like water logged and look like a cabbage patch doll. When went into ER I was judged critcal so happy to be able to type this. Thanks for the well wished and very good to talk to ole buddy Ed and Dee. LeFantome is alive for now.... again... Still not diagonsis but probably gasto interstinal.
