Financed by a country that's nearly broke.
What possibly could go wrong? I'm just glad I'm covered by Medicare/Medi-Cal so my life will be saved if I want it to be. Monthly, my SS (with no cost of living adjustment added this year) is reduced to pay the Medicare premium even though I was not using it, having lived outside the country. Meanwhile, til I return to the US, I'll be taken care of by the National Health Service at no charge whatever.
