Howdy:

I finally got around to trying the latest Webware (0.5.1-rc3) and
I'm stuck. I ran the install.py thing, and then moved the
WebKit.cgi over to my apache setup to test it (I'll get around to
recompiling apache for something better later). I fixed the
permissions, and changed the line in the cgi to point to the WebKit
directory, but all I get is Internal Server Error or 404 Not Found.

Apache is working and serving up static text, as well as several
other cgi's like viewcvs. What am I missing?

Conceptual questions: I assume apache listens as normal on port 80,
and the WebKit.cgi talks to the AppServer over the loopback
interface? The appserver says it's listening on port 8086 on the
loopback - is this correct?

I have a somewhat kluged apache setup with a virtual host on the
external interface and the non-virtual setup on the internal one.
Could this be the problem? I get 404 errors when I use my internal
domain name in the URL to WebKit.cgi, but 500 errors when I use the
IP address.

Everything else seems to work okay (even Zope, before I removed it).

Thanks in advance, Steve
