Does it really cut off at "Loading plug-in:" or do you at least get the
next line:
Listening on ('127.0.0.1', 8086)
And maybe the start of:
Creating 10 threads..........
Does it ever print "Ready"?
(I'm asking cause you say 'snip' and I don't know if that means "end of
output" or "more output, but snipped".)
What if you try the 2 plain app servers (e.g., not built in web server)?
python Launch.py AsyncThreadedAppServer
python Launch.py ThreadedAppServer
Do either of those run properly?
Finally, can you use threads from the Python interactive prompt?
C:\>python
Python 2.1 (#15, Apr 16 2001, 18:25:49) [MSC 32 bit (Intel)] on win32
Type "copyright", "credits" or "license" for more information.
>>> from threading import Thread
>>> class MyThread(Thread):
... def run(self):
... print 'Hi'
...
>>> t = MyThread()
>>> t.start()
>>> Hi
>>> t.join()
>>> t
<MyThread(Thread-1, stopped)>
>>>
I had to hit enter twice after t.start() to get back to the >>> prompt, fyi.
Let us know how those things work out,
