Without having thoroughly digested your example let me say that:
- There's an extensive test suite that comes with MK that passes and covers
various cases involving object references and inheritance. There was at
least one bug in that area that is fixed in CVS. The suite passes for MySQL.
- I have used MK+MySQL on 2 major projects much more complex than the
Videos example.
- The key to developing new database support for MK is to use the test
suite since it builds up test cases from very simple to more complex.
