Hi

Here at SAEBEX (www.saebex.com - this is not our Webware-powered site), we
are building a web-based EBPP (Electronic Bill Presentation and Payment)
service for the South African market. We've implemented a layered
architecture using Webware Apache, (WebKit), Python and PostgreSQL. There is
a team of 4/5 working on it and its all hanging together pretty nicely. We
have been able to abstract the presentation layer from the application,
allowing us to present 'bills' over various channels (currently www & email)
using the same underlying code-base.

The only significant hassles we have had have been the occasional segfault,
causing the AppServer to crash, these were caused by interaction with buggy
applications (MS SQL Server client implementation and GDChart), otherwise we
are VERY happy with the short development cycle and easy maintainability of
the code.

Lots of good advice available on the list too.

Mark

Subject: [Webware-discuss] Commercial use of Webware?

Hi,
I just joined this list, but have done some searching of the archives...

Are there any commercial projects or sites that are built using
Webware? What are the potholes?

Thanks,
Ron
