So I was playing with MiddleKit today, rewriting a super quick set of Python cgi's I wrote in about an hour yesterday for a product demo.
I'm making the object model, and certain objects need to be associated with files. Now with php/mysql etc I used to just name the files after their database primary keys. So all the files were like: 1020304.jpg Then there was a config variable for my application that knew where these files were stored. >From looking at Classes.csv, I don't see an easy way to do something similar, and I was wondering if there is an easy way to associate some class with a file object on disk, without using any database specific mechanism. Is there a way say the attribute type is a unique integer? Or a serial integer (from Postgresql)? Or is there some other way to associate a file with a class besides just having the full filename or a relative path? jack. _______________________________________________ Webware-discuss mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/webware-discuss
