No, but I suggest you disallow anonymous bug and patch submissions for
precisely the reason you are experiencing. The Python CVS repository has a
number of little turds like this:
anonymous: My toilet water turns blue when I try to run Python on my
Gameboy.
fdrake: I can't reproduce it here. Can you provide more details?
... utter silence for several months because "anonymous" never saw
Fred's response ...
fdrake: Well, I guess we should close this one.
The admins recently disabled anonymous bug submission (and patch submission
I think). If you can't tell where to flip the bits, I'm sure Barry or one
of the other admins on that project can provide a little guidance.
