The Wiki continues along. Text formatting has been fleshed out some...
I think I like the format I've worked up -- read about it at:
  http://wiki.colorstudy.net/View/text_formatting_rules

The bold/italic thing is kind of messy. But it otherwise should work
with any HTML, more-or-less gracefully falling back to entering straight
HTML. It doesn't use indentation for anything -- I always get confused
with exactly how many spaces different Wikis want (and they are very
picky), and they make it awkward to do extended things, like a list item
that goes more than one line.

You can also do transclusion... I don't know why it's called that, but
that seems to be the term in Wikis. It's including one page in
another. Dynamic variables are also in there, as well as function calls
(same syntax).

I also have IE WYSIWYG editing in there. I think it only works with
5.5+, but I don't know. There's no browser detection -- you just turn
it on in your preferences and you'll always get it, whether your browser
supports it or not.

In theory, it should be possible to have this editing enabled for every
page, without introducing any particular overhead (visual or otherwise),
so that you could browse while you edit. I'm not sure how to get links
to work, though. Probably just more playing with events and such.
This would be very useful to another project I'm working on, so I'll
probably experiment with this on the Wiki.

The Wiki briefly self-documents some of this.

  Ian
