I still have http://webware.metrony.com/portal that we can use to maintain this type of info.

Its currently PHP / PostNuke and last time I mentioned it I got all sorts of dogfood comments. I am working towards porting PostNuke to webware, since I have a number of postnuke sites that I would like to convert, but I really have not made too much progress.

There is a links and download manager and I can give anyone accounts to add/edit items. Its a good engine for keeping fresh news online w/o too much trouble.

A category like listing with the ability for developers to add new projects to. Don't know if such a thing needs to be managed or if it could be open for all.
