I ask myself, _what_ should communicate with Webware. :-)

If you have the webserver running on one machine and Webware on
another, you could use Apache with mod_webkit to specify to which
machine it should connect (WKServer directive). (I haven't tried it,
though.)

The machine which runs Webware should then listen on the appropriate
port. You probably have to ensure that not anyone can talk to your
Webware server (maybe by using a packet filter) but only your own
webserver.

It seems so a simple answer; maybe I'm plain wrong. :)
