The questions around here are far too technical these days. I'm offering
this one up for people to relax their brains a bit. I have a URL that I
have built my webkit site on www.myurl.com/mike. What I need is to
remap all requests to www.myurl.com to use www.url.com/mike. I've tried

RewriteEngine on
RewriteRule ^/$ /home/me/Webware/mike/ [R]

and seen the post from a few days ago regarding Actions.

All my images and everything is in /home/me/Webware/mike also, so I
can't just move Main.py to my document root.

I'm a bit confused over what I'm sure is a simple exercise.

Is there a downside to doing what I'm doing? What is the common
technique. BTW, Apache 1.3x on Debian Linux.
