People sometimes wonder about using TAL (aka ZPT, i.e., Zope Page
Templates) with Webware. I just saw this announcement about a package
that should make that much easier...

Hi,
I've just released version 2.0 of SimpleTAL. This release brings some
very significant performance improvements - upto seven times faster
than 1.1 if compiled templates are reused. Additionally there have
been a few bug fixes and a clean up of the API. I recommend that
anyone using an earlier version take a look.
SimpleTAL is a standalone implementation of TAL/TALES a HTML/XML
template language for python.
