Is there some good documentation on OpenTAL. I did some Googling but can't see any
examples of TAL being used outside of Zope.

Could you write something on using OpenTAL with Webware so we can get the benefit of
your experience? Even the posting of some examples would help.

Thanks.

Subject: [Webware-discuss] Unicode trouble

Hello,

I'm wondering how can i handle unicode in webware.
In fact i use openTAL as the template system. but
when the template contain some latin1 like (,)
i got a :
UnicodeError: ASCII encoding error: ordinal not in range(128)
on the self.writeln(myTemplate)

I know i can do something like myTemplate.decode('latin-1'),
but if i use that i get some strange output in the browser.

In fact i really don't want to use é cause i want
to use it in a form textarea.

Thanks
