You should be able to use Python 2.2 with Webware 0.8. I don't recommend using CVS 
versions of either package unless you really need some new cutting-edge feature, 
although I'm sure the recent Webware CVS stuff is a real improvement in various areas.

I'm sure we'd be interested to hear of any error messages you get. Personally, I'm 
using Python 2.2.2 (I think) with Webware 0.8 on Red Hat Linux 7.3, and have used 
Webware 0.7 for a long time without any problems getting started.
