It could be that you have a pre-0.8 AppServer script.  The AppServer
script script is reponsible for checking the app server's exit code and
restarting it if necessary, but this logic was only added in version
0.8.

Unless you've made customizations, you should be able to just copy a
newer version of the script from the Webware tree into your app dir.
