Take a look at this. I have started writing a custom exception handler for my pyNuke project over at SF.net. You have to realize that the custom exception handlers are context specific and therefore the code must be put into your __init__.py for the context. Also check out the ExceptionHander.py in your WebKit dir. The class has some in-code documentation.
