The current CVS AppServer supports HTTP, but the default config settings disable it.
Supporting HTTP by default would greatly simplify the initial setup and testing of Webware by casual users. No need to set up or fiddle with a web server or wkcgi, just point your browser at http://localhost:8080/. The docs would explain that an adaptor is preferred for serious use.
