A looong time ago (when 0.8.1 was recent) Eric Radman was kind enough to
submit an ebuild file for Gentoo:

http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=46730

Worked well. I used it myself but for some unexplained reason it was not
integrated in the official Gentoo Portage tree of packages.

Has somone made an ebuild file for 0.9 ?

I don't use 0.9 nor SVN version: My 0.8.1 projects work fine, and I'm
doing recent dev with either Paste/Wareweb or CherryPy+Subway. But I
would _gladly_ give 0.9 a try...

=> Are there major changes in disk layout of webware AppDir, that would
make upgrading this ebuild file from 0.8.1 to 0.9 more than trivial
renames of some files ?

I mean I'm OK for possible run-time debugging of bugs due to
changes/corrections in implementation, but I don't want to mess up my
sites by moving things all around...

TIA.

(and thanks to the devs for 0.9).
