That impression may be due to the fact that HIPAA does not apply to workers 
compensation and property and casualty insurers.

I was hoping some of the organizations and people dealing with Workers Comp and HIPAA 
could tell me how they are doing and what they feel are some of the major issues. I am 
in California and right now the impression I get is that a lot of the Organizations 
dealing with Workers Comp have not much knowledge of HIPAA.
