Hi everyone!

Quick question that I would appreciate your expertise on please.  We have physicians who travel to remote locations to offer specialty care in another provider’s office.  We utilize the other CE’s space and staff.  I am 99.9999% sure this does not require a BAC as they are a CE and their staff helps us treat the patients.

My question though is about the NPP.  Would those patients receive our NPP at the time of visit?  Typically these patients would not be seen at one of our main sites, so I believe they would have to be given one.  However, if they are also patients of the physician whose office we use, would that office’s NPP cover us?  We have no plans to enter into an OHCA with these docs.

Your input would be much appreciated!
