Here I thought we were doing well and on track for April 14th, but an interesting read last evening...I suppose it can never be easy. Can some offer some clarification?
We provide Health and Dental insurance benefits (percentage of for full and part-time) to our employees. I had understood that an NPP would be distributed by the insurance carrier. I am certain one would still be, but now it appears based on what I read that we need to distribute an NPP to our employees as well(since we pay a portion of their healthcare benefits) Please tell me I read it wrong....seems like we are only an intermediary, and don't handle anymore material than is already required by labor code. I don't see us getting involved in filing claims for our staff etc etc If this is a reality, how would this NPP be different(other than differing examples)?
