Miriam: Interesting fiction. I am interested in hearing the real facts from a struggling provider. Not just the "what if" scenarios.

Can anyone elaborate on a real situtation where a provider is forced to lower quality of service in order to implement HIPAA?

If so, then these stories must be brought to Congress in appropriate testimonies.
