The minutes to our meeting from this past Thursday are below: Attendees: Rachel Forrester, Rama Pidaparti, Ed Hafner, Tim, Sue Ryder, John Lilleston (sorry if I missed anyone...my note taking was not the best).
Chicago Conference - Everyone thought the Testing session went well. The survey was handed out and completed by those in attendance. We ran out of time for the Q&A session at the end because of some technical difficulties but the presentation was well received. Testing Survey - Ed Hafner reported that over 40 surveys were completed and returned at the conference. We received lots of suggestions for the next round of the survey. Ed will be entering the survey results into the web site once he contacts John Huff. Ed will send the survey to John and Sue so we can forward to the other co-chairs and ask them to prod members of their group to complete the survey and return. Ed will also email John Huff about establishing the link from the SNIP website for the survey. Once this is done and John L. gets the URL, he will contact Kristin Becker about having the link established on the site. Guide Ambiguties - The survey discussion led us into a discussion of the status of the X12 Ambiguities group. We contemplated taking on a similar effort in documenting the ambiguities and how people are implementing the transactions with these in mind. The group agreed that we would have resource and turnaround time issues. As a result, some of these types of questions will be added to the next round of the survey so that we know which ones are causing the industry the most work and concern. New Testing White Paper - Mike DeRoche was not available for the call. Rama gave a status in his absence. Rama said he would contact Mike and get a high level outline of the white paper out to the group as soon as possible. Test Scenarios - All test scenarios have been delivered to Kepa. Sue will follow up with Kepa via email to see what the status of the file generation process is. The group thought it was fine to house these files on as many sites as possible. If both Claredi and EDIFECS want to house the same files, that is fine. Also, we thought it would be a good idea to offer them to the Regional SNIP websites if they were interested. May WEDI Conference - Kristin Becker has asked if we are interested in presenting at the May conference in D.C. John is trying to get a group together to present the subject matter of testing issues encountered, how long it is taking to get from testing to production, etc. John will also contact Don Bechtel to see where and when we will see the results of the DDE PAG from the Chicago conference. _______________________________________________ John Lilleston Technical Supervisor - Healthcare EDI Verizon Information Technologies, Inc.
