Proposed Name: Evaluating and Reporting

Original Description:

"The purpose of this white paper is to provide analysis and insights into effective
reporting of receiver evaluations of HIPAA transactions. The scope of the evaluations
includes reporting the results of syntactical analysis against the underlying X12
standards, the constraining X12N implementation guide specifications and the
application of the receiver's business rules. The paper will also identify various
techniques and mechanisms that are available and can be used to provide the necessary
evaluation reporting at every step of the transaction lifecycle. With sufficient
detail and information reported by the receiver, the originator can take appropriate
corrective action, recognizing that the goal is not mere compliance with either X12
standards s or X12N implementation guides, but rather the successful processing of the
transaction set by the receiving business application system."
