Minnesota Medicaid is converting to the 837I from our current prprietary
foramt. Most of our coding can be accomodated within the code sets allowed
for HIPAA complaince. I would be happy to share more specific information if
that would be helpful.

Subject: Long Term Care Industry

Group,

I am interested in finding out what payers of long term care services are
doing with regard to transaction and code set compliance. That is, what
types of solutions are different payers looking at (clearinghouse,
translator, internal system remediation), what problems / issues have been
raised, etc.

I represent a long term care payer who is (as we all are) in the midst of
becoming HIPAA compliant - specifically with regard to transactions and code
sets - and is interested in finding out how its peers are moving forward
with HIPAA.

Anyone involved with the long term care industry can either reply to the
list serv or to me personally at [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Any comments are greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Paul
