Are there any payers in this group that are planning on returning the National Drug Code (NDC) information that is sent in the LIN and associated CTP segments of the 837, in the 835? If so, will the NDC information be returned in the SVC segment of the 835 or another segment? If the SVC segment, where will the procedure code information that is sent in the SV1 of the 837 on the same claim be returned? Will you return both the procedure code in the SV1 segment and the NDC from the LIN segment in the 835 file? I'm having a problem identifying how both pieces that can be sent in the 837, can be returned in the 835.
