We are trying to get an impression on how others are planning on dealing with both real-time and batch versions of the Eligibility Inquiry and Response.  In your reply, it would be helpful if you identify the type of entity you represent.

We are currently working with a TP who will route us our 270 transactions.  Presently they intend to send us transactions in a real-time mode.  Under this scenario we will received individual de-batched inquires.

Question to others in the group, are you planning on supporting both real-time and batch inquiries?

Are you using one process that will handle both your real-time and batch transactions?

For those sending inquiries, how do you expect to send your batch inquiries, would this be a series of individual inquiries (per subscriber or dependent) or as a batch in a single 270 transaction?

If a batch containing multiple inquires were sent, would multiple responses containing  an individual response be acceptable?

Thanks !!!!
