Details:
In version 0.4.0 you can register new nick (irc.freenode) name like this:
/msg NickServ REGISTER password [email protected]
But in new 0.4.1 version, when you type email after password, your email and
space symbol after pass displays like ***; for example:
/msg NickServ REGISTER *******************************
(i install weechat-0.4.1 on Gentoo Linux from source (ebuild))
