we already have the log-label option. it must be specified when weewxd is invoked. for example:
weewxd --log-label weewx-cmon weewxd --log-label weewx-vantage then use 'weewx-cmon' and 'weewx-vantage' in your rsyslog configuration. see the weewx-multi init.d script for an example. btw, the reason it was implemented as a command-line option to weewxd instead of as a parameter in weewx.conf is because by the time weewx.conf is parsed, logging has already been initiated and many log entries have already been made. m -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "weewx-development" group.
