Hi there, I'm relatively new to this group and WeeWX and have been trying to get up to speed with all the work going on with the conversion from Python 2 to Python 3 for V4. It seems to me that there is a lot of effort going in to making the software work under both 2.7 and >3.5. My question is why bother with 2.7? Python 2.7 is being officially deprecated at the end of the year, so why not just ditch 2.7 support entirely for WeeWX V4? If people feel they must still use Python 2, then they can use V3.9.x, surely?
