You're making it easy! Turns out the vector arithmetic got neglected as well. I think I got it all fixed in commit 073be00 <https://github.com/weewx/weewx/commit/073be00439e2f7deef21555de8e19ce5d411184e>. You can just download xtypes.py <https://raw.githubusercontent.com/weewx/weewx/development/bin/weewx/xtypes.py> if you want to patch your copy, or do a pull on the repository.
