Did you compile librtlsdr as mentioned in the documentation or did you use the one that your operating system bundled?
If you used the OS one, was there a message in the startup about Allocating ... zero-copy buffers If so then that's probably the root of your problems, you'll need to compile it yourself and install it or use LD_LIBRARY_PATH. For whatever reason rtldavis doesn't work with Zero Copy, and I'm too lazy to find out why. Also, you'll want to do a PPM test on the stick, using Kalibrate-rtl or at least rtl_test -p. With a close to correct PPM value and no zero copy the current versions should work without needing to scan. Personally I also recommend setting gain to a fixed value instead of letting the automatic stuff work, once I got it working I tried various gain values to minimize missed packets. -Steve -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "weewx-development" group.
