(third attempt at post - not getting error msg posting online except ‘failed to

i might have explanation why beta7 installation left out vast chunk of
weewx.conf, including everything about units.
see following lines in ~weewx/bin/weewx/defaults.py, which shows embedded
quotes that surely caused run-time error during installation:
knot = " knots"
knot2 = " knots"
kPa" = " kPa",
kPa_per_hour" = " kPa/h",
liter" = " l",
litre" = " l",
lux" = " lx",
mbar = " mbar"
mbar_per_hour = " mbar/h"
