Another thought. Thats is regarding daily summeries.

The accumulators collect the maximum and minimum out of every loop packet
and store them to the daily summeries tables. On the other hand, the
wee_database utility uses the maxima and minima of the archive records when
re-building the daily summeries tables. There is nothing that can be done
about that, because the loop packets are not available any more, when the
wee_database utility is used. But there is another thing.

Imaging, there was a problem with one single sensor, for example the rain
collector. After fixing the values in the archive table, I have to re-build
the daily summeries table for that observation type. If I do so using the
wee_database utility all the other daily summeries tables are re-build,
too. That way I loose - for example - the maxima and minima of the
temperature that were collected from the loop packets.

So I would have wished to specify a single observation type to re-build the
daily summeries for.
