ok - did a quick check of the latest 64-bit desktop and 32-bit lite 
RaspiOS.  All that's needed for the lite os is to add the dpkg of 
python3-cryptography.  It's in the desktop contents but you need to add it 
to the lite variant.  Once you do that, installing weewx is a one-step 
"pip3 install --user weewx" with nothing else required.

Good to know.

It may not be the 32-bits that causes the problem, but rather the "lite" 
version. Does the regular version of Raspberry Pi OS include the 
cryptography library?
