Welcome, Bjorn

You definitely want the USB logger. The Ethernet logger is not nearly as
reliable.

The Davis stations send what they call a "LOOP packet" every 2.5 seconds.
These are then aggregated into "archive records" by either weewx, or by the
onboard logger. The archive record interval can be 1, 5, 10, 15, 30, 60, or
120 minutes.

Normally, weewx generates a new HTML page once every archive record
interval. So, typically, you get a new page every 5 minutes or so.

If you want to use the LOOP packets to drive a live display, weewx does not
support this out-of-the-box. However, the MesoWx
<https://bitbucket.org/lirpa/mesowx> package does exactly this.

Hope this helps.
