images are produced using the same skin as the ordinary images but
with overrriden settings from weewx.conf. Installing Bootstrap with
the extension installer automatically makes these additions. If you
installed Bootstrap by just copying files from the Bootstrap github
page then you will have likely missed all of the weewx.conf additions
as it seems there are no manual install instructions.

Thanks! That was what did it. I only wonder where the template comes
from as I didn't find it in the downloaded .zip file.
