Slowly it is becoming a little clearer. With the 1080 it supplies pressure
from the console, so the usb driver will emit pressure but barometer and
altimeter are derived values which should be calculated by weewx normally -
so normally one would have use hardware for pressure, and use software for
barometer and altimeter. I do not know if your other board is supplying a
hardware value for any of the values or not, nor do I know what would
happen with two devices providing pressure readings of some kind!! Since
you say hardware for all three values in weewx.conf I see room for
confusion/errors within weewx here .......

Do you have two drivers working at the same time - one taking the 1080 data
and one adding in the UV, infra red and radiation values - or how are these
values getting to the database? Is there any possibility that barometer is
coming from the other board rather than being generated by weewx - you have
after all specified hardware for all three pressure values.

I do repeat though that on the 1080 it is pressure which is emitted by the
console and barometer and altimeter are software derived values based upon
altitude (from weewx.conf) and outside Temperature.

The QC value should be applied to pressure and not barometer since pressure
is the hardware read value, and according to the manual QC is not applied
to derived values. I wonder though if confusion is caused by you saying
barometer is a hardware value??

In my bones I feel the problem was somehow caused by saying all three
values are hardware sourced - when only one is on the 1080 although I may
not be understanding the role of your second source of data!!
