You will find that slow and steady works best.  When changing anything 
(software or hardware) try as hard as possible to change only one thing at 
a time, then check and test that change before changing something else.

Computers do not really have the equivalent of the mechanic's proverbial 
hammer, and a brute force approach rarely works - let computers bring out 
the more delicate approaches using tickles and tweeks!!!!!
