from a terminal, type... sudo dpkg-reconfigure weewx
and you should be given a simple configuration screen which will populate /etc/weewx/weewx.conf Anything else that needs adding after that then you may edit /etc/weewx/weewx.conf directly with the text editor of your choice - nano, vi etc If running as user pi , you'll need to add sudo as the first command in your entry - as per above example.
