do you want to push the wiki info into the guide, or pull the guide info 
into the wiki?

i wrote the wiki page because i had to consistently tell the difference 
between multiple FTDI adapaters (specifically, the FTDI used by rainwise in 
the cc3000, and the FTDI used by Dyacon in the modbus adapter)

btw, there is no need to reboot - just use udevadm then unplug/replug the 
device.
