Should be no problems with those StdQC settings, as long as (1) the units 
used are appropriate for that observation (ie degree_C is good for outTemp 
but not so good for rain) and (2) weewx knows how to convert between the 
database units for the observation and the specified units (eg US database 
will have rain in inches, QC setting of rain in mm is good, US database 
will have pressure in inHg but a QC setting of pressure in atmospheres 
would not be good).

I just put those same QC settings in a test machine here and it generated 
with no errors.
