1. what were you trying to do with the command which you posted?
2. how did you install weewx? If you used the deb install then try the
commands:
sudo /etc/init.d/weewx start and
sudo /etc/init.d/weewx stop
to stop and start the weewx daemon - if you were trying to start weewx.
