only the middle 4 bytes matter - the first two are packet type and length, 
the last two are checksum.  according to the decoding at bashewa, there is 
room for 12 more faults and 11 more battery status.

so if you cannot move sensors around, at least do a controlled experiment 
something like this:

1) start with only sensors that have ok battery.  tell us what channels are 
used.  (is this 1,2,3,5?  also wind? rain? uv?)

2) add a sensor with low battery on an unused channel (ch 4?)

3) move sensor with low battery to a different unused channel (ch 6?)

4) move sensor back to first unused channel (ch 4?)

5) move sensor to another unused channel (ch 7?)

6) continue for each unused channel (how many channels are there?)

7) add second sensor with low battery on unused channel (ch 4?)

post the unedited log, along with the times when you made the changes and a 
description of each change.
