I've been a long time user of weeWX and before that wview and others. My
long running station is at http://NileWeather.com.

Recently I had the chance to help a friend setup an Ambient station and
recommended using weeWX. He wrote up his part on his blog at Ship Weather
Station <https://microship.com/ship-weather-station/>, and I wrote up my
part at Weather on the boat via weeWX and Ambient
<https://sailbits.com/blog/2017/04/weather-boat-via-weewx-ambient/>.

There are some interesting concepts brought up by running a weather station
on something that could potentially move, which I'm sure have been brought
up before. Still fun to consider, and I'm glad to see another set of data
out there to help others see local weather!
