My recollection is the basic procedure is: - install weewx in your VM - copy your wview database into place, renaming it to weewx.sdb as weewx expects - start weewx And always always always work off a 'copy' of your old database just in case. If you want to get your feet wet a little, run your weewx VM in simulator mode. I do have one question though - how are you going to get your VM access to the serial or usb port your station is connected to ? That's not really a weewx question, but if the VM can't talk to the hardware (regardless of which weather software you run), that's a showstopper.... -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "weewx-user" group.
